Frequently Asked Questions

What can I send in?

You can mail us any material containing Silver. That includes used, unwanted or broken: Sterling Silver Jewelry, Silver Coins, Silverware, Silver bars .999, Ingots, Sterling Silver Flatware, Sterling Silver Tea Sets, Sterling Silver Serving Pieces, Silver Flake, Silver Paint, Silver Sludge, Silver Epoxy, Silver Solder and anything else you have that you believe may contain Silver. If you're not sure of something, either mail it to us and let our experts make the determination or give us a call and we may be able to help you over the phone.

How do I know whether or not what I have is Silver or Sterling Silver?

Usually real silver has a "hallmark." Search for a marking that either reads "925" or "800" or "Sterling" or "SS" (you may need to use a magnifying glass). If your material doesn't have any of these markings but you think it may contain silver, send it in and let our experts take a look at it.

Do you guys buy used, broken or cracked material?

Yes. As long as it contains silver we will pay you for it. The material's value is based on its weight and purity -- NOT its condition.

I can't figure out how to ship my material to you, what should I do?

Contact us at 1-866-784-2238 and we'll walk you through the procedure.

Where is my material going and how long will it take to get there?

Your material will be shipped to our corporate office at:

CFS-USA
101 HAMPTON ROAD
SHARON, MA 02067

The material will take approximately 3-5 business days to reach our facility. As soon as it does, a settlement check will be issued within 24 hours.

If I'm unhappy with my settlement, will it cost me anything to get my material back?

Absolutely not. As long as you contact us within ten business days from the date listed on your Settlement Check, we will happily return all of your material to you free of charge.

How do I know my material is safe and secure? What about when it gets to your refinery?

First of all, we insure all of our SILVERPAKS. Secondly, we have never lost a SILVERPAK shipment or had one stolen. Finally, our SILVERPAK TRACKING SYSTEM allows you to track your SILVERPAK every step of the way up until it arrives at our facility, which is constantly monitored by closed-circuit security cameras.

Do you guys buy GOLD?

Yes. You can mail us any material containing gold, platinum or silver and we will pay you for all of it. That includes anklets, bracelets, brooches, chains, charms, clasps, coins, dental scrap (Gold or Silver), earrings, gold solder, ingots, links, necklaces, nuggets, pendants, pins, rings, shot, watches & bands, wire (Gold or Platinum) & EVERYTHING ELSE! All Karats Accepted: 8k 9k 10k 14k 15k 18k 22k 24k. And if you're not sure of something, either mail it to us and let our experts make the determination or give us a call and we may be able to help you over the phone.
