Now that summer is gone, it's time to look for some fun places where you can have a great time with your family without worrying about the climate. If Idaho is not so far away, go up to Kellogg and head to the Silver Mountain Resort. There, you will find the Silver Rapids Indoor Waterpark, which is open all year long.
For some strange reason, most kids are thrilled by aquatic activities, but it's no secret that many adults would be just as thrilled to surf, slide, tube, and splash their time away. Sometimes, it's great to be able to just forget about everything else and just have a wild time. At Silver Rapids, you will find it hard to do anything else.
For kids, the Pollywod Pond would provide hours of fun as they wade in the shallow waters. Of course, you will have a hard time keeping them away from the bungee swing and the two kiddy slides. There's also the Minor's Island which is a water-themed play structure with multiple levels. In Crossing, the kids will happy to test their balancing skills and footwork as they try to negotiate across the tricky floating obstacles.
Adults will love the Flowrider, where they can either go boogie boarding or surfing, on the perfect wave. For some tubing fun, go for the Gold Rush and the Prospector Plunge. Then, the whole family can enjoy a great time at the Moose Sluice which is a twisting, thrilling raft ride. After trying all the attractions in Silver Rapids, go to the North Fork Lazy River and enjoy a slow tour of the park to muse over the events of your day.
Silver Rapids is certainly a great place to bring your family. Just make sure you are well prepared for the trip. If you want to sell silver, you just have to contact a reputable silver buyer. That way, you will be sure to receive the top dollar for silver!
